1.Have you ever raised money ?

★raise用法
①作及物動詞：
i.舉起；抬起；提起。
This weight is ton heavry;I can't raise it.這東西太重,我舉不起來。
ii.籌集:
We had great difficulty in raising the money.我們籌集這筆錢有很大困難。
iii.飼養;養育:
He is a farmer and raises horses.他是農民,他養馬。
iv提高;增加:
Salaries have now been raised.
現在薪水已增加了。
②辨析 raise，rise
i.raise 為及物動詞,可表示“舉起;抬起”,還有“籌集”等含義。過去式和過去分詞都為 raised。如:
If you want to ask some ques-
tions,please raise your hand.如果你想問些問題,請舉手。
ii.rise 為不及物動詞,意為“升起;升高”。過去式為 rose,過去分詞為 risen。如:
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
太陽從東方升起,在西方落下。
③raise money集資；籌款；募捐;
get a raise得到加薪;
raise capital籌集資本，集資;
raise up舉起，抬起；
raise fund籌集資金。
2.Yes. But the trip costs a lot of money.是的。但這次出行花費不少錢。
Each player needs to pay $150.
每位運動員要付150元。
We need to make some money for the team!
我們需要為球隊掙點錢！
★cost的用法
①動詞，花費；價值；
意為“(某物)花費(金錢)”，其主語是“物或事”，常用于Sth. cost(s) (sb.)some money結構。
These books cost 10 pounds each.這些書每本價格為10英鎊。
②可數名詞，代價；費用；成本。
at all costs不惜任何代價
at the cost of…以……為代價。
★★pay作及物動詞，意為“付款；付錢”，多指花費金錢，其主語一般是人，常與介詞for搭配使用。
pay for sth.為某物支付
pay sb.付錢給某人
pay money back還錢。
Tom paid 100 dollars for the bike.
湯姆花100美元買了這輛自行車。
★★★make money掙錢；賺錢。
make money for…為……賺錢。
注意：money為不可數名詞，可以用some修飾。
3.I'll bake something delicious.
我要烤一些美味的東西。
I think everybody likes cookies.
我想每個人都喜歡曲奇餅。
★delicious作后置定語，修飾something。
★★everybody likes cookies.為賓語從句。
4.pay,take,cost,spend的區別
4.1pay ，cost 常用來表示金錢的花費。
①pay的主語是人。
常用的搭配有sb pay some money for sth.例如：
I haved paid three dollars for the book.我花費了3美元買這本書。
②cost的主語多是事和物。
常用結構是sth cost sb some money/sth cost too much 或a little.例如：
The dress costs me seven hundred yuan.
這條裙子花費了我 700元。
That house costs too much.這房子花費太多錢了。
4.2take表示的花費時間。
常用結構是it takes sb some time to do sth.這里用it 作為了形式主語。例如：
It takes me one hour to do this homework.我花了一個小時寫作業。
4.3spend既可以是花費時間，也可以是花費金錢。常用結構為:
①spend sb some time/some money on sth, 表示花費多少時間，金錢在什么東西上;
②spend sb some time /some money （in） doing sth，表示花費多少時間金錢做什么事情。例如：
we spend ten minutes on the housework.我們花了十分鐘在家務上。
I spend ten dollars on the tickets
他花了十美元在這些票上。
He has spent six dollars playing the computer games.
我花了六美元玩這個計算機游戲。
Tom has spent two hours fixing the fan.湯姆花了兩小時修理這個風扇。
